The “Pran Pratishtha” of Lord Rama’s idol on Monday in Ayodhya brought together all the families and communities for a communal celebration, while other regional communities and institutions involved in this historic event attracted sizable crowds(Ayodhya Ram Mandir) with songs in their local tongues. For the celebration, almost two thousand Gujaratis flocked to their samaj office on RP Road. The highlights of the day were the puja and bhajan recitals, according to Samaj General Secretary Minal Vakharia. The day was observed by our members in the same manner as the Diwali festival.
